Miniaturizable Cycloidal Reducer

Cycloidal reducers have a size limit and ratio limit below which they are no longer practical. We have come up with a way to get around these limitations and their applications to robotics with space limitations. Our technology allows you to back-drive a cycloid at 40:1 ratios.

An area of R&D we are currently working on is making a cycloidal decreaser run as an increaser. An impressive challenge indeed. We are using the latest 3D software and 3D prototyping capabilities to move this project forward.
